I have been using DMSO for over a year topically undiluted for joints and scar tissue. I don’t go to any lengths to assure cleanliness. Soap and a good rinse. Alcohol might not be a bad idea, but I am over 2 years into use and have nothing bad to report. I use it 100% strength, but I have a lot of melanin and am not overly sensitive.
Use gel of 70% DMSO with 30% aloe Vera. Bare clean hands, on bare clean skin. You can even add castor oil on the top. It helps with inflammation reduction.

I bought a gallon on Amazon for about $150 in glass jug; it was 99.99 pure DMSO. I put it on both of my Hips for severe bursitis alternating with A DMSO CREAM that contained aloe vera, oil of magnesium, vitamin E, Amica, MSM -sold under the Trade name of Dr Robaina, for Joint and Muscle, for about $26. There's nothing wrong with DMSO in plastic bottles as long as it's the type of plastic that doesn't react with DMSO. In fact, most manufacturers ship it in a plastic bottle so chances are that your DMSO was previously in a plastic bottle even if you received it in a glass bottle from the reseller. It's also likely that the reseller used the correct type of plastic; otherwise, the bottles would likely arrive leaked, deformed, or melted, making the error immediately apparent to the customer. So I just tried Alter Ai for the fist time, way better - less biased answers thats for sure. Here is what I asked just to see what it is like. My question to alter ai, - " Now that time has passed, what is your opinion of the covid 19 vaccines, were they safe and effective as we were told, and since time has passed, have they harmed, disabled or killed many people.? ". I suggest people try this or similar question and test this out, then try out other Ai. Alter Ai was honest, as in we were told lies based in politics, economics, not science, adverse numbers are high, all cause mortality high etc. Then I added the same wording question copied into one of the Ai's I use a lot, completely different, downplayed adverse events as very rare, and certainly safe and effective etc. So the Alter Ai reads be cautious, we were lied to for political and economic gain, the better known Ai kind of suggests rolling up your sleeve may be a good idea. I'm just finishing the highly recommended Audible book by Amandha Dawn Vollmer - 'Healing With DMSO'.
In the latter part of the book, she mentions that DMSO could damage and subsequently end up permanently blurring the lenses that are inserted/implanted.
That's not surprising to me, considering how soft and pliable they are, and just what delicate material(s) they are most likely made of.

I am reading about great success with AMD using chlorine dioxide solution (CDS). About to start a regimen for my cousin who has AMD and intraocular lenses after cataract removal. I only had one case of a man who had blurring of the lens who used a higher dose of 50%. He was a Mennonite and unfortunately I was unable to get a follow-up.

Take bromelain supplements too. Mystidow brand, 1/day with food. I did some research and a lot of people recommended it for floaters. I had a bad spider web type floater in my left eye. My optometrist laughed at me when I said that I wanted to try something like that. Well it’s completely gone, and I think I have the last laugh.
If you take a medication that warns DO NOT TAKE WITH GRAPEFRUIT, do not take bromelain. Bromelain can cause overdose of the medication because it increases potency when both are going through the same liver pathway CYP3A4

Maybe you could try to use MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). Similar to DMSO, but can only be used in drinking water (for what I know...). I have been using it for many years...
I read that Cranberry juice nullifies the smell in Amandha Vollermer's book called "Healing with DMSO". Also someone in a DMSO fb page said fresh parsley is good for this.

No, no no!!!’ do not use DMSO if you had lens implants like cataract surgery DMSO unless it’s a special plastic bottle needs to be put in Glass, the DMSO absorbs particles etc. The plastic does not hold up to DMSO.
So the key is finding out the composition of my fake lenses. I’m so sorry I let them take out my God-given lenses. I didn’t know that there are ways to clear your lenses until after the surgery. I try to warn others now.
It’s in the article but I’m entirely unsure how to make STERILE drops ? Purity does not convey anything about sterility which is needed for eye drops without preservative . Are people mixing it freshly each day to keep bacterial contamination low and doing at home ? It should ideally be done under neg pressure hood, but I can’t find a compounding pharmacy that will do it. The one I use for opthalmic preps without preservatives uses neg pressure hood and 22 micron filter which can’t be used to sterilize dmso .
Initially I was getting the compounded sterile eye drops made up in the ratio suggested by Dr Robert Rowen some decades ago - as in DMSO, Vitamin C and GSH, but this is very expensive month after month from a compounding pharmacy. Instead - For well over 10 years I have been mixing roughly 40 % 99.99% pharma grade DMSO, to 60% distilled water for eye drops. No sterile measures taken - other than boiling my 30 ml dropper bottle and dropper every now and then, like once a year. I could get DMSO compatible .22 micron syringe filters and filter it but never bothered. If adding anything else then I would filter. Rare, but if ever I get an eye infection, colloidal silver fixes it in a matter of hours - CS sprayed or dropped into eyes. Not medical advice, just what I have found helpful.

I also have scarring from a previous retinal tear fix. Probably shouldn’t have had cataract surgery at all, but doctors don’t warn you. My friend years ago had a very aggressive cancer on his head. MDs insisted he get surgery NOW or he would die. His friend who supplied black and red salves to Mexican clinics provided some for him.

DMSO has been used in the equine world, both topically and systemically (with FDA approval btw) for decades with great success. (It would be interesting to know whether more horses or their caretakers have benefitted from the DMSO.) However, it's readily available, in abundant supply and it's cheap and non-patentable. No big killing to be made, therefore, no FDA approval for human use (except for interstitial cystitis). Follow the money. Personally, I prefer gentler approaches to healthcare like homeopathy. Sometimes, though, "bigger guns" are necessary but should be used with great care & knowledge.

It assisted me recently in preventing a harsh bronchial condition from going deeper into my lungs. I have several dilutions of DMSO + boiled water in amber bottles. I'd like to add a sterile saline solution like you used - e.g., Physicians Care Eyewash - to an empty glass bottle, and then add a few drops of 25, 50, or 70 percent DMSO solution, to make my own sterile eyewash + DMSO solution.
QUESTION: Have you found that using *plastic-bottled* saline solution is okay, when mixed with DMSO? I'm just concerned that the saline solution - though sterile - will be contaminated by the plastic from the bottle it comes in. And then, when I pour it into the glass bottle, and add the DMSO, the plastic "contamination" will be magnified more by the DMSO. What's your experience?
I would not put DMSO in a plastic bottle. As per Dr Andreas Kalcker website on CDS protocols (andreaskalcker.com) protocol O. CDS is sterile clo2 using a mason jar to gas off the clo2 into distilled water. You can order his book from his website (Forbidden Health):

Years ago I got dry eye; my ophthalmologist told me to take a tablespoon of cod liver oil daily. I did; dry eye cleared up. Still taking it. Dr (who was also a brain researcher & a bit of an iconoclast) also said that the cod liver oil is the best thing for your aging brain.

Yesterday, while watering my garden my vision in my left eye disappeared. I can only describe it as complete opaqueness . I had light but could not focus on anything. There's nothing wrong with DMSO in plastic bottles as long as it's the type of plastic that doesn't react with DMSO. In fact, most manufacturers ship it in a plastic bottle so chances are that your DMSO was previously in a plastic bottle even if you received it in a glass bottle from the reseller. It's also likely that the reseller used the correct type of plastic; otherwise, the bottles would likely arrive leaked, deformed, or melted, making the error immediately apparent to the customer. Whew! Just imagine the lawsuits!

I'm just finishing the highly recommended Audible book by Amandha Dawn Vollmer - 'Healing With DMSO'.
In the latter part of the book, she mentions that DMSO could damage and subsequently end up permanently blurring the lenses that are inserted/implanted.
That's not surprising to me, considering how soft and pliable they are, and just what delicate material(s) they are most likely made of.
I had both eyes done with cataract surgery and implants just a few years ago. But being new to 'all things DMSO', I don't want to risk trying it for, or in my eyes.

I am reading about great success with AMD using chlorine dioxide solution (CDS). About to start a regimen for my cousin who has AMD and intraocular lenses after cataract removal. "Finally, one of the most common questions I receive is whether DMSO can be used on the eyes with artificial interocular lenses (IOLs). Presently, I am relatively certain DMSO eye drops of low concentrations are not an issue as:
•Dilute DMSO almost never leaches materials, and drops of lower concentrations applied to the eyes rapidly dilute as they slowly enter the eyes through the cornea.

I tried DMSO for floaters but the smell on my breathe and skin was repulsive to my family members and it lasted a good 4 days on my breathe. Is there any way to counteract that or does it get less with time? I teach children and I will hear about it if I am stinky
Take bromelain supplements too. Mystidow brand, 1/day with food. I did some research and a lot of people recommended it for floaters. I had a bad spider web type floater in my left eye. My optometrist laughed at me when I said that I wanted to try something like that. Well it’s completely gone, and I think I have the last laugh.
If you take a medication that warns DO NOT TAKE WITH GRAPEFRUIT, do not take bromelain. Bromelain can cause overdose of the medication because it increases potency when both are going through the same liver pathway CYP3A4

I read that Cranberry juice nullifies the smell in Amandha Vollermer's book called "Healing with DMSO". Also someone in a DMSO fb page said fresh parsley is good for this.
It's polyphenols that help the most and pomegranate is one of the best juices for that use. You can also add anything that will oxygenate like mms, or hydrogen peroxide, even ozone will decrease the overall body odour. 🌹

No, no no!!!’ do not use DMSO if you had lens implants like cataract surgery DMSO unless it’s a special plastic bottle needs to be put in Glass, the DMSO absorbs particles etc. The plastic does not hold up to DMSO.
I few plastics do hold up per PHD’s in chemistry. Like the ones used by Jacob’s labs and the DMSO store.
So the key is finding out the composition of my fake lenses. I’m so sorry I let them take out my God-given lenses. I didn’t know that there are ways to clear your lenses until after the surgery. I try to warn others now.

It’s in the article but I’m entirely unsure how to make STERILE drops ? Purity does not convey anything about sterility which is needed for eye drops without preservative . Are people mixing it freshly each day to keep bacterial contamination low and doing at home ? It should ideally be done under neg pressure hood, but I can’t find a compounding pharmacy that will do it. The one I use for opthalmic preps without preservatives uses neg pressure hood and 22 micron filter which can’t be used to sterilize dmso .
Initially I was getting the compounded sterile eye drops made up in the ratio suggested by Dr Robert Rowen some decades ago - as in DMSO, Vitamin C and GSH, but this is very expensive month after month from a compounding pharmacy. Instead - For well over 10 years I have been mixing roughly 40 % 99.99% pharma grade DMSO, to 60% distilled water for eye drops. No sterile measures taken - other than boiling my 30 ml dropper bottle and dropper every now and then, like once a year. I could get DMSO compatible .22 micron syringe filters and filter it but never bothered. If adding anything else then I would filter. Rare, but if ever I get an eye infection, colloidal silver fixes it in a matter of hours - CS sprayed or dropped into eyes. Not medical advice, just what I have found helpful.

I’ve been asking this question since I had (and deeply regret) cataract surgery 2years ago. I’ve never gotten any feedback about this until now. Thank you to all who have contributed. I also have scarring from a previous retinal tear fix. Probably shouldn’t have had cataract surgery at all, but doctors don’t warn you. I’m still afraid to try the DMSO, but it’s great to hear that others have done so safely.

My friend years ago had a very aggressive cancer on his head. MDs insisted he get surgery NOW or he would die. His friend who supplied black and red salves to Mexican clinics provided some for him.

DMSO is a natural chemical. Because it can be obtained from cooked wood (a natural substance) does not make it bad to consume.
Hydrogen cyanide is natural, too. So is botulinum toxin.
And there are remedies, both pharma and homeopathic, that are made from those substances.

DMSO has been used in the equine world, both topically and systemically (with FDA approval btw) for decades with great success. (It would be interesting to know whether more horses or their caretakers have benefitted from the DMSO.) However, it's readily available, in abundant supply and it's cheap and non-patentable. No big killing to be made, therefore, no FDA approval for human use (except for interstitial cystitis). Follow the money. Personally, I prefer gentler approaches to healthcare like homeopathy. Sometimes, though, "bigger guns" are necessary but should be used with great care & knowledge.

I have several dilutions of DMSO + boiled water in amber bottles. I'd like to add a sterile saline solution like you used - e.g., Physicians Care Eyewash - to an empty glass bottle, and then add a few drops of 25, 50, or 70 percent DMSO solution, to make my own sterile eyewash + DMSO solution.
QUESTION: Have you found that using *plastic-bottled* saline solution is okay, when mixed with DMSO? I'm just concerned that the saline solution - though sterile - will be contaminated by the plastic from the bottle it comes in. And then, when I pour it into the glass bottle, and add the DMSO, the plastic "contamination" will be magnified more by the DMSO. What's your experience?
I would not put DMSO in a plastic bottle. As per Dr Andreas Kalcker website on CDS protocols (andreaskalcker.com) protocol O. CDS is sterile clo2 using a mason jar to gas off the clo2 into distilled water. You can order his book from his website (Forbidden Health):
Protocol O is a procedure that involves preparing eye drops for ophthalmic (eye) and otolaryngological (ear) use with CDS (chlorine dioxide solution). This protocol is useful for treating various eye conditions and sinusitis. It can be applied to both the eyes and nose, especially in cases of flu or sinusitis.
Instructions for Preparing the Eye Drops:
50 ml of physiological saline (NaCl 0.9%).
0.5 ml of CDS (Chlorine Dioxide).
Optionally, 0.3 ml of DMSO (70%).

I use Dr. Moran’s off Amazon, but any pharmaceutical grade in a dark glass bottle will do. If you use a dropper which is easier to apply, make sure the dropper and bottle are glass.

This is a well presented & logical presentation of the known facts about DMSO & eye health .. I am 79 & have advanced MD & have been receiving injections in both eyes for 15 months (for wet MD) .. based on my knowledge this is a therapy that will end with declining efficacy of the injections (Eylea 8 mg) & continued loss of vision .. I've been told the injections actually accelerate dry MD .. Let me tell you my journey, hoping it will encourage you to do more research to use a natural holistic approach for all your health needs.
I learned about DMSO and castor oil mix solution from a holistic ophthalmologist for my wet AMD treatment, I decided to start eye drops (30/70 mix and hyaluronic acid solution). That said, from a clinician / safety-first lens, there are a few non-negotiables that need to be stated very plainly for readers:
1. “Promising/biologically plausible” is not the same as “clinically proven,” especially for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and floaters, conditions where we’d want modern, controlled human trials with standardized formulations and validated endpoints.

As a laboratory professional among more, I get nightmares and want to screech when I read the comments about ‘do it yourself’ concoctions to save a few dollars, and along with it sometimes the disdain for quality control. It is impossible to exaggerate how easy it is to contaminate outside of rigid controls. And though we may be skeptical on viruses, there’s no doubt of bacterial mayhem afoot in even the apparently cleanest environs. Please purchase from only the highest quality sources if you go this route, only glass, and then rigid carefulness on your part in use. If for example that dropper tip so much as glances anything, sterilize before reuse and before returning to the bottle. Please. This is not paranoia. Its experience.

Years ago I got dry eye; my ophthalmologist told me to take a tablespoon of cod liver oil daily. I did; dry eye cleared up. Still taking it. Dr (who was also a brain researcher & a bit of an iconoclast) also said that the cod liver oil is the best thing for your aging brain.
If I may change the subject a little, does DMSO have any negative effect on lung health, like copd and emphysema, my roomie won't use it because of what she found on WebMD, I told her consider the source.

Yesterday, while watering my garden my vision in my left eye disappeared. I can only describe it as complete opaqueness . I had light but could not focus on anything. Stunned, I closed my eyes and massaged the closed lid but nothing. Rapid blinking , nothing. I went straight into my house wondering what I could do. I must admit I was in a little panic mode. I have DMSO but nothing else I felt I could do use. I poured a little distilled water into a glass and roughly poured an equal measure of DMSO. I soaked a pure cotton handkerchief and gently dabbed my closed eyelid. Some massaging with my fingers into the corners caused a little stinging but after a few minutes it subsided. After a minute or so I started to blink. Now, I kid you not, my sight returned almost 100%. Watery at first then little by little it improved. It was not perfect but the I remembered to wear my glasses and it was 100% . I was astounded.
